Classic Kitchen
This prospective kitchen is designed with a young family in mind - a space that is functional, accessible and one where the whole family can spend time together.
The kitchen layout creates self-contained zones to allow everybody to be in the space at the same time without getting in each other’s way. The cooking area with it’s dedicated oven allows multiple dishes to be prepared at the same time. The island invites others to hang out close-by as meals are being done. The baking center has its own sink and smaller oven.
A bright eat-in area is another flexible place for family members to gather as meals are being prepared - kids finish homework, do crafts, or play board games. Extended family sits and chats . It can easily function as a sweet work-from-home spot too. Flanking it are folding glass doors that can be opened up all the way, blurring the boundary between inside and outside.
The material choices are thoughtful and focus as much on ease of maintenance as on their beauty. The palette is calm and timeless.
A niche over the refrigerator with its custom wallpaper accent delights with its unexpected splash of color and charm.
